ok guys,

Im new to this site but have done engines and all before on jet skis and such
I have my uncle's 03 ranger (series 11) and have two problems right now.
First is when I'm trying to remove the carb, i cant seem to figure out how to get the choke cable off. If I could do this, it would be alot easier to disassemble the car.
Also, I have blown the jets out, pulled them and cleaned the carb with cleaner and air pressure and all. I can't seem to get the motor to run with a load. I can crank it and it will not get into high RPM's once in gear. It will run a little better on choke but I have cleaned the jets...... Also, it will not run once i put the filter in place.

Any suggestions?

Also, im waiting on my new filter and other parts right now but it will not run high rpms without bogging down.
