Just giving you all an update from Polaris. If you have not received your letter from Polaris on this matter you should within a day or so.
The letter is for a FREE RZR AIR FILTER OFFER
Polaris has acted upon consumer and dealer feedback and developed a new air filter for the RANGER RZR (part number 1240482) which assists in better air filtration on your RZR.
One free filter per VIN will be offered.
Your letter will have the link. If you do not receive a letter from Polaris use the following link to claim your free air filter.
www.polarisindustries.com/rzrairfilter
The letter also states that "Dependent on availability, your air filter will be shipped in approximately 4 to 6 weeks from your request."
I sent mine in today so we will see how that goes.
I think I am in love!
How about a ride report? Def one of the top I have ever seen. Where do you guys ride?
Oh, I nominate Jared as our trail leader... that way there will be plenty of people behind him to watch the action and then flip him back over

Im not sure if we are staying there yet but I will let you know where we end up.
The original plan was to go out to the dunes riding this weekend. However as the weekend approached the weather made a major turn for the worse and a severe weather warning hit central Utah. Friday night came and we decided that if the weather was decent when we woke up we would still go out. Morning came and it was raining like crazy! Bordom set in about 10:00 am so we said heck with it lets take the sidexsides up the mountain to find some snow!
We loaded up and left Moroni on the sidexsides. By the time we got to the gas station for fuel we were already quite wet! By the time we got to the base of the mountain we were soaked! On up we went. It was raining soooooo hard and it was difficult to see between the goggles fogging up and the fog/rain upon us. We stoped by a few overlooks along the way.

At this point we were so soaked it didnt matter anymore!
So we raced to the top! There were big puddles in the road and the slick mountain mud made it easy to drift arround the corners. We were a little ahead of the teryx flying down the road just out of there sight. There was a slight rock step on the right of the road so I veared off to the left. We were going about 45mph and unaware to me the left side elevated a bit and the driver side of the rzr caught air and tossed us off the road into the trees. We flew along the side of the road quite aways taking out the quakies as we rolled and landed on the passenger side. We were still belted in and we heard the teryx behind us coming so I waved out of the cage as the blew right by us. They didnt stop!!! We got out and had a hard time getting it back on the wheels and an even harder time getting it back onto the road. We found the other teryx 10 minutes down the road on top of Log Canyon highcentered on a cut off tree.
We headed out to the Red Cliffs but it got snowing so bad we turned arround.

THAT IS THE RZR HOOD

What a trip and we found the first snow of the year!!!

Is everyone planning on trailering to and from or riding the roads to and from a certain hotel?
I would say both... I highly doubt everyone that will be coming will be "street legal" by then. Meeting points, times, trails, etc, etc, etc still need to be figured out.
Josh, Your alive??? Its good to see ya around these parts. We have missed you out to the dunes the last few big weekends.
Nice job on the build, looks like it is coming along great!
