Did those kit ,drain battery like adds more lights.
HID lights have their biggest draw as soon as you turn them on and then they level out with usually less draw than your stock lights. We have ran stock HID replacements along with many additional HID lights with no problems at all on the stock system. Just be sure not to turn them all on at the exact same time.
HID stock replacements can be purchased at Ruthless Motor Sports for only $125.00 and they are a true plug and play kit. Many forum members on here have them installed.

What a great day to ride! 
The weather was perfect and the sand was good too! It was sure nice to hit the dunes before they are covered in snow. It was also great to ride with all of you again and it was nice to finally meet "duckfart". 
We will be posting up some pix as well as a video I should have done tonight.
Was there CARNAGE you ask?

Yes HID lights will give you a TON more light and yes your stock system can handle them.

I would like to make it out there friday what time and where are you guys meeting?
Lets meet at 10 at sand mountain. That work for everyone? That will give it a chance to warm up a bit before we hit the trail.
