Side X Side Community - goin riding whos with me

SAND HOLLOW UT FEB 16-18!Load up, get out of the cold and come join us at Sand Hollow. Friday the 15th I will be spending the day sleddin up Fairview Canyon and Saturday morning we will be off to Sand Hollow. I know some of you will be down hittin the snow with me on Friday but what better way to spend the rest off the weekend than in the Southern Utah sun?Everyone is welcome so post up here or PM me if you are interested. :D -Jared

Brad, you didn't think Jared knew she was down there without ya? :lol: Just kidding.... I test mine all the time. 17 years she has had time to adapt to it.

We are actually staying in Hurricane as well.... It sounds like you got it all figured out Ryan, "adapt" being the key word!

My trailer is going in Saturday for service before the warranty is gone. I already told her I plan on lots of weekends down to Fairview now I won't have to tote it home on the weekends, just up and down the canyon. Plenty of snow...should be bonfire proof!

We are just pulling the sidexsides down and staying in a hotel. Some of our group are heading down Friday and he rest are heading out Sat morning. It looks like we will be coming back late on Sunday. I can get you the hotel info for where we are staying if you would like. I CAN FEEL THE SUNSHINE ALREADY!!! :lol:

yup time to get out of the snow and have a little funwe are staying in the travellodge saturday night in huricanethe # is 1-800-551-2409but there are others down there as well. saturday night hotel i couldnt find any cheaper then $90i am sure the hotel isnt that great but i am excited to get into some sand!!!!

She is missing out on the sledding, so I promised this will make up for it :wink: Her brother in St. George has a Rhino, might get him to come. My only dilema, the grandkids will want rides :? Might stay in St. George with Mother-in-law, but I am trying to get out of that, will know more Sunday...

MMMMM.......SAND.....Martin is coming too... and he is bringing a new teryx! We will have a variety of sidexsides down there and some quads as well. :D I have another buddy from down there that is coming up for sleddin on Friday that will be at sand hollow as well with us. Looks like your in Brad so lets work on Ryan now :wink:

Do we have access to a flatbed that will hold a bunch of rhino's? I could justify an overnight trip if we could split the cost of fuel a couple of ways. I have a standard fifth wheel hitch or tongue tow. :?:

I am going :D Might stay at the Travel lodge as well, not sure yet. I will be driving down Ryan, I will need to get in to St. George to visit Mother-in-Law and also in Hurricane to visit daughter and family.

I am getting psyched for this trip! I cant wait. So tired of this dang snow. Its gonna be nice to meet new people off the forums. I say we rent a huge flat bed semi, mob down their like we are important! HAHA! Martin and I are going down Friday night. We are staying with some good friends in Hurricane.

Very tempting.... Hard to justify the long drive for an overnight trip but the weather does look good. I might have to bring a co-pilot to keep me company for the ride down. Any staying till Monday?

Maybe... depending on the weather an how much fun we are having. We might stay till Monday. Big possibility! Just depends if we break something. :)

There might be a couple more Rhino's/SidexSides going from another forum I am a member of. More the merrier.

The weather is going to be beautiful!!! They said low to mid 60's last night. :D So is there no way Brad and Ryan can come down together, or is the trailer thing the problem? I would like to stay till Monday.... maybe longer with weather like that! I will have to talk to Dave and see if that is an option for him and his girl. The last few days down here have been beautiful. Blue sky, lots of sun, and warm!

Its a big possibility right now. Is anyone else staying inside the park? I am going to try and get my trailer down there instead of paying for a room.

I plan on heading down Friday after work and staying til Monday.I would like to start talking about where we are going to meet up Saturday morning. Do we want to meet somewhere before going to the dunes, like in Hurricane or just at the entrance to the state park?

If I go down I usually camp in the day use area near the sand. There is a tunnel that go's under the road right next to it. I will have my toyhauler if I go. Brad and Jared will have me convinced by Friday night i'm going. :lol:

you have to go...now, we could just meet at the parking area, by the tunnel, where you are camping.

I need to find time to de-winterize the trailer before I can go. This storm tonight took 2 1/2 hours to get across the valley. A full scheduled day tomorrow so we will have to see what we can do late friday, early saturday morning.I would like to be out of here by 10 or so saturday if i pull it off.

OK - I will try and be there earlier, I AM excited :D I was thinking I will put my 1/2 windsheild back on, think that is a good idea ? Full is warmer, 1/2 keeps the dust cleared out. Supposed to be high 50's and maybe 60 on Sunday.

that trip was a absoloute blast!!!! i loved being able to blast the dunes and then rockcrawl all in the same area. thanks guys for a awesome weekend.

Looks like I miss a good trip, I got my ride all put back togather so I don't miss out again.
