Topic: HID Conversion Kit
Hi, I'm new to the site so sorry if this question has already been answered... Does anyone know what HID kit works for the Polaris Ranger? I am specifically looking for the bulb kit # for example H11, 9006, etc... None of the kits online list what # the bulb is.. I would appreciate any help.
Email this guy, and ask him if he knows- kbrowncustoms@gmail.com
Good question.I think a high intensity discharge or HID Kit gives a facelift to your old or new motorbike, car, truck, etc. through better quality illumination to hit the road with great amount of confidence. Choose your preferred HID Kit from HIDOnlineStore.
Did those kit ,drain battery like adds more lights.
[quote:8a61ecac71="pierre jean"]Did those kit ,drain battery like adds more lights.HID lights have their biggest draw as soon as you turn them on and then they level out with usually less draw than your stock lights. We have ran stock HID replacements along with many additional HID lights with no problems at all on the stock system. Just be sure not to turn them all on at the exact same time. HID stock replacements can be purchased at Ruthless Motor Sports for only $125.00 and they are a true plug and play kit. Many forum members on here have them installed.

Mark , thank , it should be nice , I buy ranger xp 2010 , may be same as 2009 , you ask for temperature , I do`nt know . And did you have bargain for member ?
Pierre,I am checking if the 2010 Ranger has the same bulb application as the 2009. Regarding temperature, the unit of measurement is Kelvin (K). The higher temperatures (above 4500K) means the light will have a more blue/purple color to it, but with higher temperatures (approaching 10,000K and up) the viewing distance is reduced and the bulb has a more significant blue/purple color. We recommend either 4500K (white light) or 6000K (a slight blue hue) to our customers. These are the most common temperatures that we sell and they maximize viewing distance. We offer the 3 different temperatures for variety.Yes, we have enabled a promo code for $20 off your purchase through our website (this even takes $20 off our sale price). Promo code is 1OFFSXS . This can be entered during checkout.I'll get back to you on the bulb application.ThanksMark-1OFF Team
I bought my 6,000 K HIDs from Jared at Ruthless Motorsports, and was blown away at how much brighter my lights were. Great product, fantastic price, and customer service was second to none. P.S. I liked them so much; I bought a set for my two GMC trucks as well!

Good news Pierre. the 2010 Rangers use the same bulb type as the 2009. So you can go ahead and select the 2009 and you will receive the correct bulb type. I will make a note on our end to update our website to include 2010 as an available option. Also, you can email me if you have any further questions or concerns at mark@1offmotorsports.comThanks!Mark

Remember that Polaris rangers use like 3 different bulbs from year to year. I think 2005 and 2006 have the same bulbs and 2007 and 2008 have a different socket and 2009 and 2010 again use another type of bulb. As fare as the last time i checked that there is no direct replacement HID kit for the 2005 and 2006 models and require you to Micky mouse the housings to make a kit work. That is why i never used the HID kit on the 2005 for this reason and i noticed that on your site that it is not year specific for your HID kit :?: .http://1offmotorsports.com/p-1462-offroad.html

We do offer this HID bulb, we are one of the very few HID manufacturers who offer this bulb application. You can actually select your Polaris Model and Year directly from the product page.http://1offmotorsports.com/i-911600-hid-off-road-polaris-hid-off-road-xenon-light-system-hid-conversion.htmlJose1OFF Team
