Topic: nets and belts

User: 742

I have come to the conclussion the razor nets are more trouble than thay are worth. The oem belts also failed first trip out by locking up. I installed a 5 point harness and I really like it. Now I want to find some half doors to replace the nets. Anyone use these?

I have been thinking about getting rid of the stock belts. I would liike to see a pic of yours with the new belts if you could. What type did you get? I have seen doors on ebay. I was thinking about having a local sheet metal place make me some doors. How do they latch?

I was thinking about having a local sheet metal place make me some doors. How do they latch? The belts I used were genearic 5 point belts I picked up from off road wherehouse. They are inexpensive and good quality. The cratch strap is strapped to the cross bar the seat latches into. It is basically useless but it helps keep the other belts into place. The lap belts bolt into the oem mounts, and shoulder straps simply cinch over the rear bar. It works and is very simple. Thanks for the tip on the doors I did not think to look on flea bay.

I have five points on all four seats of my rhino. I had the passenger side break during a small rollover. Use a 1/8" x 3/4" x 10" flat bar between your front seat to base bolts for your fifth point. The fifth keeps the belt lower than most four points.
