Topic: 650 drive belt?

When do you know its time to change the drive belt? Some say to measure the width.Some say when you loose top speed or when it slips at low speed. I don't want to loose it on the trail or in the dunes.Not sure thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it until at least 1500 miles unless you know you have abused it.

I would agree changing the belt still 1500 miles is safe enough but the sooner the better.
